Tatu has been creating drag looks for almost 40 years, developing a wide range of makeup skills and techniques along the way. His experience extends beyond drag into fashion, theatre, performance and Halloween makeup.
Makeup can be a powerful form of self-expression, transformation and creative play. Creating looks together is also a fun way to learn new techniques, prepare for an event and connect with like-minded people.
Tatu organises makeup workshops alongside his art exhibitions, bringing people together to experiment, transform and create. The workshops provide a participatory community art element that complements the exhibitions and performances.
